I would like to know more about my grandmother's family. She was born on the Isle of Man but I am not sure of the date (1874/75). Many years ago, my great-uncle Heywood Daly showed me a pen and ink sketch of a huge building. He told me that when he was a boy the family had lived in "Government House". To me, it had more of a temple apperance than a house. We know of family names like Brown, Heywood, Von Pirch and Daly but not a lot of details. we have a bit of history about Peter Heywood, the unwilling midshipman left behind on the Bounty and the story of the (now lost) family heirloom -- the Guye Fawkes latern used in the foiled Parliment plot. Not much more than that.
