The following news item appeared in the Atchison (Kansas) Daily Globe, Tuesday, January 30, 1912:

"Misses Anna and Alice Lace, of the Isle of Man, will arrive to-morrow to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Walker and Mrs.A. D. Cain.  They have been visiting their sister, Miss Ida Lace, who made many friends during an extended visit she made in Atchison and vicinity a year or two ago.  She is conducting a rooming house in Vancouver, B. C.  Enroute home from there the Misses Lace visited Mrs. Joe Ayers in Wichita, and will visit Mr. and Mrs. Perce Killey in Horton, as well as visiting in Atchison before they return home."
