I think I have finally found my IOM link. William Cain was christened on 8 Oct. 1844 (born 5 Oct. 1844), Kirk Malew, IOM. Parents were listed as Robert Cain and Elizabeth Costain. Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated. Would love to trace Robert and Elizabeth's parents, grandparents, etc. Also would like to know if and when this family emigrated to USA and where in USA? I suspect New York--would have probably been after 1844 and before 1865? I appreciate any help you may provide, I look forward to hearing from you.
