Many thanks for your response to my query on Greeba chapel.Very helpful.
I also took your implicit suggestion and looked at a number of your sites .A goldmine, but they lead me to pose further questions:
--Did Methodist chapels such as that one at Greeba have their own graveyards?
--If not, were Methodists buried in the graveyards of the Parish (i.e.Established)Church ?
--If so,what records,if any,are available ?
--According to Markstander (Summary,1937) corpses were still being buried as late as the 19th century on the site of one keeill.Do you know if any records of these or other late keeill burials exist ?
In the above contexts,I am principally interested in the second half of the 18th century, the 19th and the early years of the 20th.
Finally,do you know if the keeill survey, mentionned on p.4 of Markstander is available on the net?
Any help gratefully received ! Alan Corkill
