Senogles is a cumbrian name - came over in early 19th century from around Keswick - I have somewhere in proceedings of Westmoreland and Cumberland Antiquarians a ref to the original german (probably todays Dutch) who wre licenced to come over in I think Elizabeths reign to open up the mines around Keswick
