Hello Clive,

Thank you for your information in reguards to the Whittakers in Manx.

I have had a look at all the sites and I believe that I stayed at the
boarding house of Mrs Whittaker or Mrs. Wild when I was about 8 years old.

I'll see if I can jog mums memory, mum turns 84 this month and unfortuneatly
her momory is fading.

I was interesting in reading that a Greenhalgh was the Governor of Manx.
We have Greenhalgh in the Family tree My Grandmother was a Spencer and
her Sister Maud Married an Albert Greenhalgh, from Tottington.

It really is a small world when you start doing the family history.

Well Clive once again thank you for passing on the information, I have one
query Are you related to the Whittakers who own the Whittaker Chocolate Peanut Bars that are made in NZ ( that are very morish and fattening that doesn't stop me from eating them though)

Yours Joyce Bussem nee Whittaker
P.S. Have a Happy New Century. Joy.
