The census records Charlotte Bridson as being born
in Rushen but I suspect her employers will have
been sure that was correct if she told them she
came from Glen Rushen. GR is an isolated part of
Patrick parish near several parish boundaries. Ballacottier is marked on O.S. maps. GR mines were a distant
part of Foxdale mines.
