In early 1900s my grandfathers brther - Alexander Sinclair CROSSAN was sent to IOM to stay in the care of family there when his mother Isabella (Coole) CROSSAN could no longer do so. I believe the family lived in Peel. He attended the Rushen Church and had a prayer book given to hem signed by Rev. Leece. Can anyone give me any ideas about how to find this family? Isabella was born 27 Jan 1861 in Kirk Rushen, daughter of James and Isabella COOIL. Her mother was likley married twice, first to Thomas Ronay and had another son by that marriage - also Thomas.
This is quite the brick wall for me and I would really appreciate any help possible,
