IGI shows the marriage of William Cowley and Elizabeth Moore to be in the parish of Malew November 1880 when William's age is given as 35 and Elizabeth as 21.

In the burial section there is Thomas William Cowley after 15 months buried October 1884.

By 1901 the family appear to have moved to Toxteth, Liverpool, U.K.

No sign of Emily, I wonder if her name altered.

The Lancashire Marriages has:-

Wilfred E. Cowley to Mary E. Segor 1912 at St Matthews, Toxteth Park.

Edward M. Cowley to Catherine Pointor 1907 at St Matthews Toxteth Park.

There is also a record of an Elizabeth Cowley, age 40, from this area dying in 1901 and another for William Cowley dying 1914 age 68 which agrees with his marriage age.

The latter may need clarification with certificates.
