In the 1851 census, there is only one Thomas Corrin (Currin) who fits the 1823-1827 birth range.
Thomas Currin age 27, labourer, married to Eleanor and father of Thomas, is 27 and gives his birth place as Malew.
Possibly, he is son of Thomas Corrin and Esther (Hester) Lowey.
His christening (Malew Jan 15 1826) on the IGI is a submission by an LDS member, but there is a marriage (Rushen April 7 1825) extracted from parish records.
In 1851 Thomas Sr. is a shoemaker in Malew. All the family members were born in Malew, except Esther. This couple is still in Rushen in 1871, but not 1881.
