Thanks for your interesting reply. I was just clutching at straws really - I haven't seen the name appear on the message board before and I have no idea who Catherine's parents or siblings were. From census ages she could have been born anywhere between 1826 and 1832! I had heard my grandmother speak of her - her grandmother - but, of course, didn't ask any questions while I had the chance.
