I have recently been forwarded a message
posted by Mrs. Nora Williams re: Descendants
of William Quirk who married Cath Cannell at
Kirk Rushen in 1792. Her own Thomas Quirk m.
Mary Johnson in Warrington, Lancashire.
She located him on the 1841 UK census with
Mary and Ann, their 1st child, together with
James Quay & Isabella Quay Quirk who is
probably a sister of Richard Quirk who may be
a brother of William Quirk. I am researching
the Quay family which I have traced to the
Isle of Man. I would be pleased to share my
findings w/Nora and others, if interested.
