Ancestry.co.uk has free access until 30 November to information about passengers who took ships from the British Isles to USA between 1820 and 1960. The Guardian newspaper says it is the first time that British migrants' records can be searched by name. 100 million names from over 100 American ports (passengers arriving).
Canadian, UK and other worldwide immigration collections are also free until November 30th.
