I have just sent you yet another email and a mini-gedcom via (as an act of desperation) Hotmail, so keep checking your mail and maybe even some of the disappeared ones will turn up.

GRU might have been an answer except that the John Kermode in my tree is not your John
I was abashed that I gave you duff info on this so I've followed your John's line back a bit, and it is the results of this search that I have been trying to get to you.

Various bits of info on this were in the emails that have not reached you, so I'll work up a summarry and post it this board either today or tomorrow.
