Does anyone know were Tramway Terrace was/is? Annie Holmes was living there at the time of her marriage to William Callow Callister in 1910 at St Georges church.
Her father was William Holmes an organ builder, and she was born about 1881 possibly not on the island. The witnesses at the marriage were Fred and Cissie Blakemore.
William and Annie emigrated to Australia where William died in 1932. Annie returned to the island with two children and ran the Fairy Cottage stores in Laxey, presumably until her death.
Any further information on Annie and her family would be appreciated.
