Thanks that is very useful. I had a possible birthdate of 22 May for Henry Davidson but no year. so that seems to confirm it is the right person. fathers name is robert when i was told possibly John. mother Eleanor when i had ellen. so this might help to trace the family better

i cant seem to find him in 1901 census though. it would help as i have names of brothers and sisters that would also help checkout info i have. He ended up in liverpool and i don't know when he came .
