Not sure of your dates for John, more like 1790-1857. My 1851 census has him in Ballacross Cottage West, Andreas, age 63 and born in the parish of Rushen. Very few if any Cleators came from this parish but there was a marriage of John Cleator to Catherine Corlett in 1789. They seem to move around the island according to their children.
