Lois, thank you so much for your info. It is my family. I found James, Jane and Florence living with another male Skinner (can't read given name) who was born in Indiana in 1848,all living in Portland, Oregon in 1870. The family that I was tracing before I found James & Jane, was one of their son's, James Thomas, born in Ohio in 1833. He was living in Michigan in 1855, then they settled in Yreka, Ca. by 1860. I haven't had time yet to see if I can trace the Senior James's movements. Do you have additonal information on their earlier lives?
