dates dates & places ?

I have a Dawson holding Ballatersin (just outside of Peel) from 1541 - the name goes back earlier as I have a note of Roger Dawson holding intack land in German in 1534 - judging from their base around Peel and their land holdings my guess is they came over as part of the Stanley retainers around 1500 or a bit later

The name can be found in German parish regs from their start in 1680's and in surrounding parishes as well
