John Kermode c1863 German m. Emma Craine c1865 Onchan in Douglas 23 Dec 1897. They had at least two children: Doris Irene c1899 and Emma Belle c1900 both born in Lonan.

Emma may have been:

the dau of James Cain who, in 1871, was a widower living at 54 Conchon Village, or

the dau of Hugh and Ann Cain who, in 1881, lived at Tromode(?), Conchon, or

the dau of James and Jane Cain of, in 1881, 14 Market St Douglas, or

someone else.

Emma was probably John's second wife - the first being Susannah Cannan who died in 1895 [Lawson].

Can anyone point me in the right direction here?
