Hi, I've been on holiday!

Going from Frances, I have down William J Sheard m Margaret Bannan, no date for marriage.
I have 3 children for them on my records, William c1892, Phoebe c1895, and George c1897.
I don't have anything more on this line after these children.

If your Sheards are from the line of John and Sarah Greenhow, then John was born Bradford 1795 to a John Sheard and Grace Sugden( or so I believe ). If I have everything right in my tree ( still not 100% sure ) he was the 1/2 brother of my husband's Gt Gt Grandfather, also a John, born c1816 IoM. It's a very complicated tree, as John Sheard senior c1769 was in the army. He must've been widowed, and remarried in 1811 on the Isle of Man to Elizabeth Corkhill.
Even though I believe the info I have is correct, there's still that niggling doubt as to why John Sheard sr named another son John, though I guess it was because it was with a different wife.
