the John Knight is prob son of John Knight + margaret Cain bapt 16 DEC 1852 at Kk Micheal - the Knight family had probably moved to Kk Micheal following the marriage of Paul Knight + Margaret Cannon in 1762 (previously a Douglas family ?)

There is no obv Jane Knight tho there is a Sarah Knight d/o daniel knight + mary corlet bapt 13 AUG 1848 kk micheal (sarah jane is a common combination);

I'll leave you to see if there is a possibility of a matching Jane Cain as the cousin could be s/o a sister
