our messages crossed - the only small pub is The Manx Family Tree: A Beginners Guide to Records in the Isle of Man now in its 3rd ed - that should be available from the Museum shop - the FHS pubs are not pub reading (unless the beer is very bad) being burial records etc. The Museum shop carries an excellent range of local history books.
