I really am struggling with this......
maybe the answer is obvious to everyone else but me - I need someone to point me in the right direction please !
recap:
Thomas Corrin died 3rd July 1868, age 42, buried Malew Old Yard.
He would have had to have been born between 4th July 1825 and 3rd July 1826.
Two possibles:
1.chr.30/10/1825 - Kirk Rushen to John and Jane Corrin nee Nelson.
2. chr.15/01/1826 - Malew to Thomas and Hester Corrin, nee Lowey.
I haven't found any others in this timescale.
Married Eleanor White 03/11/1849 Kirk Rushen, she was born Rushen.
They had 9 children, all christened St.Mary's, Castletown, presume born Malew, as James 1862 was born Four Cross Ways.
I have 1841 census for a Thomas Corrin - 15 - living Four Cross Ways.
1851 Thomas, Eleanor and son Thomas living Darbyhaven.
1861 Thomas, Eleanor, Thomas, Edward,Margaret ,living 8 Howe Cottage, Bradden.
1871 Eleanor, widowed living 24 Arbory St. Malew.
1881 living 15 Arbory St. Malew.
1891 living Liverpool with youngest daughter.
I would be so grateful for help in this matter.
