Thank you Brian. My nearest LDS (40 km away) has been very unreliable to date and I can't get an answer when I ring them. I haven't been able to find out the times it's open but I might just have to turn up and hope for the best.
I'm not sure about the marriage date. All I know is that he married quite young and that his birth date was in 1904.
If I can I might try one of my husband's Aunts to see if she remembers her aunty's name.
