should have noted - John is with his widowed daughter Ann McCormic in Peel in 1851 census - Ann had married Wm McCormick in 1826 - several children but all found in one of the somewhat unreliable 'patron submitted' batch in the IGI under Peel (rather than German) - I havn't looked at these years personally in the Parish reg so can't vouch but the dates fit with the 1851 census
