Thanks for the info. I think there is a chance they are the same family, but the birth dates are a mystery. I could not find the place Llangmana, Denbighshire in the 1861 census.

But did find Llandeg--- (which is Llandegla Denbighshire)

I wondered why the daughter Maria E (Roberts) Davies married in Wrexham as neither party appeared to have any link to this place.

Then discovered Wrexham is nearest town to Llandegla. Possible that maybe she wanted to marry where her dead mother married or maybe it is where she was buried.

Apologies to using the Manx board for this question - but she did marry a IOM husband and then moved to the island.
