I am researching my wife's family and know that Edward Gill was born around 1800 in perhaps Patrick. He appears on the 1841, 1851, 1861 and 1871 Census in Cumberland.

I have an Edward Gill christened in 1796 in Patrick son of William Gell and Joney Gelling
Could this be the same man?
