As a way to reduce this annoyance, perhaps you could give a couple of the senior members of this board rights to delete postings. I would also suggest (if possible) to require posters to create a user profile and password prior to posting. This will at the very least prevent spam spiders that automatically search for message boards like this one and auto-post.
