Thanks for that suggestion Jane. The spellings certainly vary a lot. It could possibly read as Cullin in the original. I see he is with them in 1851 as a grandson, although his birthplace is given as Ballaugh.I haven't found him yet in 1861, which would tie in well. I shall ponder and check.
