For Brian Lawson... You helped me with a Henry Moore some time ago. Taking a break today I looked at your personal work. Interesting to note... The entry of Henry Moore b.1615 married to Margaret Huddleston sent a small shiver. It's the second Moore/Huddleston union I'm privy to. Mother's was not a good one to dad, she being the Huddleston. Her roots go back to York and have been well published under the Huddleston Tables. (lucky me in the work department)
Your note mentions your Henry as a "gunner." Would this be as in Ship's gun crew, or perhaps musketry? Now that would be interesting!
