I am trying to find out more about Vera McLean of Douglas I.o.M, who was a Corporal at RAF Jurby when she married Pilot Officer Robert Thornton RNZAF on May 22, 1944, sadly only 3 months before he was killed. They were married at St George's Anglican Church.

This lady may be a relative on my mother's side, McLeans but from NW Highlands in Scotland.
