I believed I had all the documents concerning the family's property from 1909 to the sale of the farm and then to the sale of the croft in 1985, but it's definitely worth another look when I next come to the island, also to see the document, referred to in 1909, dated 1897, presumably re Mary's promissory note. Mary is the ony one who petitions for administration in 1909.
