I am trying to find out anything I can about my grandmother and her ancestors.

My grandmother (Sarah Catherine Cowley) married Ernest Stone on 12 April 1909 in the parish church of Kirk Braddan. At the time she was aged 34, a spinster living at 11 Mount Havelock, Douglas. Her father's name on the marriage certificate is shown as Thomas Cowley, Blacksmith.

I have also found a census entry from 1891, which shows the Cowley family living at 20 Demesne Road, Onchan, Douglas. The family is as follows:

Catherine Cowley (which would be my grandmother Sarah Catherine Cowley), Daughter, Single, F, aged 16, Dressmaker, born Michael, IOM

Emily Cowley, Daughter, Single, F, aged 14, Dressmaker, born Michael, IOM

William W Cowley, Son, M, aged 11, Scholar, born Michael, IOM

Stanley Cowley, Son, M aged 6, Scholar, born Michael, IOM

If anyone has any information that would help me trace my grandmother and her ancestors, I would be very grateful.
