Gilbert Kenaugh was almost certainly my 6x gt.grandfather. He was born in Malew about 1689. The name of his wife does not appear on any records. He died on 15.1.1717 and was buried in Kk.Malew.

Gilbert may have been the son of John Kenagh and Katherine Quaile who were married in Malew about 1690, but again I cannot find any absolute evidence of this.

Gilbert and his wife had 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls, and his eldest son John and his wife Alice Corlett were my 5x gt.grandparents

John and Alice farmed Ballahott Farm in Ballasalla, and I have a fairly detailed history of the family from then on.
