Chester Street Car park was built when Frederick Street, Chester Street and Wellington Square were demolished. Most of the houses were rented. My grandparents had a grocer's shop and bakehouse at No. 7 Frederick Street. The other dwelling houses were all on the opposite side. So No.14 must have been right up at the top underneath the steps that led up to Edward Lane. There are probably photographs of the steps in the Museum.
