I would be grateful if anyone can help me to track my Castell ancestors.
My 3xG Grandfather Daniel Castell/Castle d.21.3.1876 at Onchan. He is buried at St Peters, Onchan & I have seen the transcription of his will on lawsons.ca. 1861,1881,1891 census's indicate he was born in Parish of Onchan. However the only birth record I can find for him is - Daniel Castill, chr. 6.8.1793 Lezayre, father John Castill, mother Jane Garrett. (IGI- extract local b/chr. records). He was one of 7 children born to this couple who married 5.2.1771 Lezayre.

Daniel Castyll m. Margaret Gelling 9.11.1817 at Braddan.

Another branch of my family has Joshua Reynolds (born Portadown Ireland c.1813) marrying Elizabeth Jennings 5.4.1837 at Braddan (extract local marr. record IGI).
An LDS member submission has Eliabeth b.20.8.1816 at st marks IOM - father James Jennings, mother Ann Clague. This would fit with her age on later census's, but beyond this I'm stuck.
