Just to say thanks for info provided but would there be any way of finding where in Ireland they came from. Would they have had to register their place of birth on any documents when they arrived in I.O.M. I am trying to trace back from Robert and Rebecca and without knowing where they came from not even if it was the North or the South. I know that lots of records were destroyed around 1920s but if I knew where they originated from I would love to go there and see if I could trace any records etc. Any suggestions/help would be most appreciated.
