Unfortunately the MIs published by IOMFHS, although fantastically useful, aren't 100% inclusive - there are headstones which somehow managed to avoid the notice of the dedicated transcribers. You can't automatically assume that there is no headstone - just that there is no inscription recorded in certain cases.
