John Quiggin, the son of Philip Quiggin and Ann Killeen Kaneen, born on February 8, 1820 at Ramsay, Isle of Man, England, was the eldest of seven children. He later migrated to Americaa and fought in the Civil War, then migrated to Australia and is buried here.
