I have in my possesion a family bible with the following Radcliffe births written in it:

Anno 2 April 1793
Thomas 29 MAy 1803
Charles 15 August 1804
James 15 December 1805
Merey 20 December 1807
William 14 May 180/12
Elizabeth daughter of John and Elizabeth 21 September 1814
Jene 1 November 1816

My family has many links with IOM the tree includes the names; Kissack, Cretney, Clague, Corkhill, Cottier and Jones. Known areas are Braddan, Baldwin, Marown and Douglas. I have no idea how the Radcliffes fit. The bible came to New Zealand late 19th century but to the best of my knowledge the Radcliffe name did not.

If you have come across any of these people I would be very appreciative of any info you may have.

I suppose it could also be possible that the bible is not my family at all !
