Hi Alan,
I'm curious about this post re Mary Kaighin. I haven't been able to identify this Mary. In my records I have two possibilities:

Mary Ann Kaighin, christened 20 June 1813, Kirk Braddan, d/o Henry Kaighin and Margaret Creer

and

Mary Kaighin, christened 13 May 1810, Kirk Michael, d/o Thomas Kaighin and Jane Quayle

The first is the most likely of the two due to the christening date and that family was back in K. German for the christening of their last three children by 1816.

Does this look like the correct Mary to you or did I miss a Mary?
