The 1880 USA Census has, all in the same area:-

William Skinner 1807
William Skinner 1823
Daniel Skinner 1822

The latter two names appear to be part of the family that emigrated in 1827 and can be seen in Manx Notebook.
Daniel, their father, appears to have married twice 1. Ann Gelling 2. Elizabeth Caine. He seems to be one of the children to William Skinner and Ellinor Cowin in Andreas. They also had a William 1805 and I am guessing he is the 1807 one in the census.
