The German PR has many entries 'at Patrick' which probably explains the double counting of the first - remember the distance between the two churches was only a couple of miles and families living on the south side of Peel probably married across the 'border' - at certain periods it would appear more fashionable to marry at Patrick (maybe the vicar at German was not to everybody's liking ?)
