I'm trying to locate the birth/death of Thomas G Miller. He married Mary Richie, grandaughter of James Stafford at Braddan in 1856. They had a son William Edwin Miller who died in 1885. He lived with his grandfather and then his great-uncle. Mary Miller later surfaced in Chorlton upon Medlock, Manchester where she gave birth to my Gr-grandmother Florence Mary, but her birth certificate states her father as Elijah Redgate (who was already married) and Mary Redgate formerly Miller. At her marriage 1887 Florence says her father is Tom Miller and calls herself Florence Mary Redgate Miller. I need to establish his age and death to confirm if the birth certificate or Florence is right.
