On IGI online there is an ARMIGEL WADE HANDCOCK Christening: 26 FEB 1821 Braddan, Isle Of Man (Father: MATTW HANDCOCK, Mother: HELEN MARIA WADE). Parents appear to have married 15 FEB 1820 Braddan, Isle Of Man.

- No other children appear on IGI.
- Neither parent appears to have been christened on the IOM.
- I could see no matching burials on www.lawsons.ca.
- I couldn't find them in the 1851 census for the IOM.

Perhaps the whole family moved to America soon after Armigel's birth?
