Wright is not a Manx name so you are looking at immigrants or temporarily resident families
there is in IGI a George Wright christened at Douglas St Matthews 22 Jan 1768 son of George Wright & Mary McKay (neither parent sounds Manx and there dosn't appear to be any other christenings of their children) however there is a George Wright bur 19 Dec 1826 age 52 which might match (there is a will).
