Does anyone have any information on a farm or croft known as 'Oudean' Braddan.
It was owned by John Quine in the 1851 census and also occupied by the Jelly family.
I am also trying to find where the Jelly family moved after the 1861 census,
Margaret Jelly (John's daughter) born Onchan 1818, who married Thomas Jelly.
This was the entry for 1851;
John Quine, Head, 58, Tailor (Formerly Farming 11 acres), Oudean
Margaret Quine, Wife, 54, Braddan
Margaret Jelly, Daughter, 32, Oudean
Thomas Jelly, Son in Law, 22, Farm Labourer, Douglas
Benjamin Kneale Nephew, 7, Scholar, Oudean
Margaret Jelly, Granddaughter, 1, Braddan
Lydia Jelly, Granddaughter, 2mths, Braddan
The family are still living there in the 1861 census
