I am directly decended from William Quine, son of Thomas and Esther Quine from Onchan on the Lonan border (Little Conrhenny farm - the border runs through the current bigger Conrhenny farm/equestrian centre).
Sadly not the same family, but the same names. There were too many Thomas, and John, Quines in Onchan and Lonan - I have yet to unravel them all.
My Thomas and Esther (nee Corrin) are buried in Onchan Old Churchyard.
