Thanks very much Len, but I have tried that Isabel. There were 2 Nicholas Caine's in German about the same time as the Nicholas Caine in Kirk Michael, and they were father and son. The Nicholas Caine from Kirk Michael was listed with his father as being William Caine. I found about 5 Nicholas Caine's in the same area and about the same time frame. Through process of elimination and accountability I have narrowed the search down to the Nicholas Caine of Kirk Michael. Again, thank you so much for the ideas.
